Physiological effects

Daily dosage 1 tablet contains a standardized amount 50 mg of soy isoflavones, natural plant estrogens, which are similar compounds to estrogens. Soya is one of the best sources of soy isoflavones.

Plant estrogens have a favourable effect on the hormonal action and general immunity. Many plant estrogens are also effective antioxidants.

In countries where people eat soya (e.g. Japan), middle-aged women have fewer menopause symptoms. Less osteoporosis appears in these countries than in Western countries.

The consumption of food containing plant estrogens, as soya, is recognised to diminish different kinds of menopause symptoms and to have a positive effect on the calcium balance of the body preventing brittleness of bones.

Red clover is also an important source of natural plant estrogens. Vitamin E is an important antioxidant that protects cells from oxidative stress.
